XRP is a cryptocurrency created in 2012 and released for use in 2013. The company offers global payment solutions for banks, payment systems, digital asset exchanges and corporations.  It also works on the basis of distributed registry technology (DLL), which uses the blockchain consensus algorithm, rather than mining like other blockchains.
